Its hits you there, beautifuly written. If this story wasn't done right it would have been a mess but you hit the nail on the head. Very simple and thats what works, It's not to long, therefor it doesn't get repetitive. You didn't go into to much character detail like...Gerard word his blagh blagh if you get what I mean, there is a time and a place for that kind of writing, and you stood clear of it (good thing).This story is very dream like, as if the reader is on drugs...I don't know if I'm making sence. Well you did a realy god job and I'm going to keep an eye out for more of your work.
