Fabulous day out yesterday.
High Tea for in_the_bottle's birthday - lovely to catch up with people and the food was so good I had plans to elope with the creme brulee.
Then because in_the_bottle recently got me hooked on Cabin Pressure we set out with lefaym who was visiting for the weekend to walk around the city taking photos for the Travelling Lemon Project (and attempt to play Yellow Car which we had no luck with till later in the evening)
We escaped the cold by retiring to The Sherlock Holmes Pub where we ran into a group of people dressed as Sherlock when made the evening rather entertaining with random conversations with wandering fans and stealthy lemon games.
Lastly we headed up the other end of the city to a very odd but cool cocktail bar. Sci fi harem chic would be how I describe it LOL the top level where we had a booth was all red lit, there were no menus we just had to tell them what flavours we liked and they made us something to match. A couple of hours of fannish converstion and laughter and our evening was done
