We had two defaulters this round, which is always a bummer: neither Melisandre nor Vanwa Hravani turned in stories for their recipients.
*However*... we had an excellent roster of pinch-hitters this round who really stepped up to go above and beyond-- some lucky folks have even received bonus stories, as the writers were so inspired. To make it easier for our pinch-hitters to work, the minimum word requirement was lifted, and multiple people were allowed to snag a request, so as a result, some of you will find multiple gifts waiting for you-- after all, in the dog days of August, it's best to turn lemons into lemonade! :D
So let's give a great big round of applause to these ladies and gents who worked to make sure none of our participants went without sultry summer treats:
