When time is always on your side…it stops meaning as much as it once did.

It’s been one hundred years since I felt his lips against mine.
One hundred years since he whispered loving words into my skin and said in a low growl against my hip.
“I’d dust before I’d ever leave this spot.”

And when I felt it again…I knew one thing for sure…
“It’s been too long, sire.”
