Oh, I do like this--I could see Giles being determined not to give the First the satisfaction of seeing him suffer. (And true, there are worse ways to find out about something like that--and he should know.)
I can definitely picture Ethan's grin at the end. Poor Giles. *g*
Oh, that's priceless. Giles is trying to be all stiff-upper-lip and strong in the face of the First and he's just dropped himself into an enotional quagmire. :D
*hee* Loki, hmmm? One of these days, I think I must write a 10-year-old Ethan. I think I see a heavy Trickster influence there - somehow, I don't think the costume caper was his first Halloween prank, and I don't see him settling for TP'ing the neighbors' houses or setting a bag of dog poop ablaze! :-)

That was great! Poor Giles, getting caught saying *something* about his feelings for Ethan.
Perfect, babe.
Thanks for sharing this.

Oh, that is just too good. So perfectly Ethan!
Hmmm... I wonder if he ever had any interest in worshipping Loki? The trickster god and he could probably have a lot of fun together.
