Things don't always go as planned

Skate for Charity yesterday didn't turn out quite like I expected it to. We didn't end up playing because of Chris's voice. He refused to go on and make a fool of himself. We all took a vote to play and I guess he was the deciding factor. So now Tony and Johnny are really mad at him. I sincerely hope that aren't mad at me. I hope this doesn't tear us apart either. Playing with these guys is more fun than I can say. Even though it ended up hurting us, I'm glad we practiced so hard Saturday and Saturday night, it was fun and helped me release a lot of crap. Cause these bad days at work are killing me and I needed to let it out.
Anyways Skate for Charity was still a blast. I got to see a ton of people I haven't seen since Spring Break and beyond. Got to hang out with Stephanie for the majority of the day, she's a real cool girl. Also got to see the wonderful Mintern sisters again which is always a pleasure. And of course I can't forget Brandon and Lou who I don't get to see nearly as much as I'd like to. Stupid work.
The bands that did play were incredible. Seven Times Today were great, and if you didn't watch them, shame on you, they rocked. I felt bad for them cause most of the audience left for them, and they did the best in my opinion. We got to talk with some of the guys after the show and they told us about some local shows going on in the near future.

May 22nd there are supposed to be a ton of bands playing in Pikeville including Idea of Beauty and Alli with an I. I can't remember exactly where the place was at.
The bassist for Seven Times Today also said that they might be playing with Beloved sometime soon as well. That would be a fucking awesome show.
I might upload some more Spring Break pictures tonight for anyone who is interested. Also the guys house who we practiced at, Chris, took 2 rolls of film of us practicing. I imagine he gots some great pictures and if I ever get a hold of some I'll definetly post them up here.
Dead Poetic is the shit and everybody should check them out. They sound like all the other stuff out there but they do it better. I just think a lot of people would enjoy them.
I am also listening to a song called "A Rush And A Push And the Land is Ours" by the Smiths. It reminds me of an old Final Fantasy song, and everything he says in the song is true. Everybody should check that song out also.
