 Title: Vintage: A Ghost Story

Author: Steve Berman
Type: M/M slash, fantasy, romance, teen
Length: 164 pages
Rating: Good

Blurb: A lonely gay teen bides his time with trips to strangers' funerals and Ouija board sessions, desperately searching for someone to love--and a reason to live following a suicide attempt.
Walking an empty stretch of New Jersey highway on an autumn night, he meets a strange and beautiful boy who looks like he stepped out of a dream. But the vision becomes into a nightmare when the boy turns out to be the local urban legend, the ghost of a star athlete killed in 1957--a ghost with a deadly secret and a dangerous obsession.

Vintage: A Ghost Story is an intense thriller that looks at the dark side of gay urban fantasy, where the dead can never rest and trapped spirits never find peace.

Alright, I got a little behind on my posting as opposed to my reading this month. Lol, so this is me catching up without posting them all in one day. BTW, I hope that everyone has a happy New Year and all that.

Ever since I discovered Steve Berman's work quiet some time ago with these (I think that was the first one I read anyway), I've been slowly picking up more when I see it. This book was actually staring out of the window of a local book store at me one day. Truth be told I wasn't really sure what to think when I picked up this book.

This is the story of a young gay teen, who runs away from home and ends up staying at his aunt's house. I really liked the way the relationship between him and his best friend was handled. You could really feel that there was a connection between them. I also enjoyed how the relationship between the main character and his romantic interest works. That was one that I did not see coming right away.

Over all, if you like new relationships, crazy ghosts and teen boys slowly finding their way in the world... I think that you will enjoy this book. Either way it's a fun, easy read.
