Alberta is finally moving human rights protections based on sexual orientation from the yes-we-know-the-courts-told-us-we-have-to category to the fine-ok-we'll-actually-write-it-into-law category. After 10 years! For reasons that passeth understanding, human rights legislation falls under the portfolio of the minister of culture (?!). But, whatever. It's finally happening, it's finally here. (Probably). Finally.
