By the time Dawn thought she was winning the argument, she looked down and realized that Faith’s wound was already almost closed. So they went to the hotel room, not the hospital.

Faith immediately claimed the first shower, so Dawn sat on the floor just inside the room, on the tile to avoid getting sand everywhere. While she waited, she flipped through the book, trying to figure out what she’d missed.

Right, there was the spell she’d used. And the species description… no, it said ‘peaceful,’ at least this wasn’t technically her fault. Although maybe she should have thought about the fact that the Lavic demons breathed fire.

Dawn sighed. Faith wasn’t really hurt that badly, not for a Slayer, but they hadn’t gotten the scrolls, and she hadn’t even gotten so much as a seductive look, so the night was pretty much a total loss. She brushed sand out of her hair awkwardly. She was really looking forward to that shower.

As if cued by her thoughts, Faith stuck her head out of the bathroom door. “Dawnie, c’mon. I’m wasting the hot water.”

Dawn looked up, startled. “What?”

“C’mon in. We might as well save some water.” Faith winked, then ducked back into the room.

Okay, maybe the night wasn’t a total lost, Dawn thought as she pulled her dress over her head.

When she entered the shower, she saw that Faith was leaning against the wall, waiting. “Go ahead in.”

Dawn climbed into the shower, wondering why Faith was being polite. It wasn’t quite what she’d pictured when she’d been thinking about… okay, fantasizing about the Slayer.

The curtains rustled as Faith got in behind her. “Hey, Dawn.” One of her arms slung over Dawn’s shoulders, then Faith pushed her lightly into the water and started washing out her hair. “Did you get hurt? I was kinda distracted.”

“Um, no, I’m fine…” Dawn mumbled, tilting her head back.

“I’m glad. My healing’s fast, but you getting hurt woulda ruined the whole night.”

“Whole night?” Dawn squeaked. She was sure she was flushing bright red, but the hot water at least provided an excuse for that.

“Yup. I got plans for us, Dawnie…” Faith ran her fingers through Dawn’s hair, then leaned over to press a kiss to her cheek, pressing against the back of Dawn’s body. Dawn felt the other girl’s breasts pressing against her back, and leaned back.

“Whoa, there, Dawnie…” Faith murmured, her hands wandering down her neck. One rests at her breasts, tweaking a nipple, and the other dipped lower, stroking her stomach.

Dawn whimpered. “Please…”

“Please, what?” Faith asked, teasingly. “Should I stop?”

“No!”

“No, I’ll stop.” Faith pulled her hands back.

Dawn somehow managed to turn without falling in the tiny, cramped shower and grabbed Faith’s shoulders to kiss her. She felt Faith laugh against her lips, and the Slayer’s arms wrapped around Dawn’s waist.

Some very enthusiastic kissing later, Dawn woke up to reality enough to feel Faith’s fingers stroking at the front of her groin. She moaned softly, feeling Faith’s fingers dancing lightly across her labia, then into her folds.

“That feel good?”

“Yes…” Dawn groaned as Faith pinched her clit lightly, shivering.

“Alright. Now hold still.” Faith spun her and braced her against the wall of the shower, grabbing her hands and putting them on the metal bar about hip high, meant for balance. “And don’t let go.”

The Slayer knelt in front of Dawn, pushing her legs aside and beginning with her lips sealed over Dawn’s clit.

Some time later, Dawn was leaning in Faith’s arms, groaning in delight. The water was starting to run cool, but she didn’t mind.

”That was amazing…”

“Yup. Think you’ve got me out of your system now?”

“Huh?” Dawn blinked.

“Well, Kennedy gave me permission for one night to get you to stop lusting after me, but this is gonna be all.”

“Kennedy?” Dawn asked, confused.

“You do know I’m her girlfriend, right?”

“Wait, what?”
