Birthday Stuff
Went out for lunch with my mum on Tuesday and bumped into my cousin and her kid who ended up coming with us. I love him to bits but he's 5 and reinforced the whole DO. NOT. WANT. thing. They were busy so lunch was going to be a 30 minute wait so I ended up taking him to get a magazine and then making his day by telling him he could have any toy he wanted. (in the pound shop *g*) just so I didn't have to sit next him when he was bored.
We were supposed to go to Ayr on Wednesday but everyone pulled out which fucking sucked. Other girl from work has the same birthday as me and specifically took the Wednesday and Thursday off work so we decided to go to the pub together. One Cheeky Vimto lead to a pitcher which led to a second pitcher which lead to a pitcher of Green Monster...then another one. Two people drinking 4 pitchers in 3 hours leads to falling asleep on the sofa fully clothed and dodgy LJ updates. She also got me 50 Shades of Grey for my birthday...she does not know me at all.
Thursday didn't do much, Friday went out for dinner and then to see MIB3 in 3D. It was okay, nowhere near as good as the first one though, it was my first 3D film at least. I got an Amazon voucher, or to give it the proper name CM PUNK'S DVD WHEN IT COMES OUT IN NOVEMBER.
Also started a strange knitting project where I'm making the pattern up as I go along and it might not even work. The things I do for my friends.
