summer tidings
I GOT MY LICENSE!! like 3 weeks ago, but still, exciting news!! So I now share a car with my sister. The car is a 98 oldsmobile that used to be my great grandmothers when she could drive, but she gave it to us after she stopped driving. So I'm happy about that. The fact that i have a car, not the fact that my grandma cant drive anymore.
It's been a while, and i'm bored while i'm uploading songs for my ipod, so I figured i'd update. Yeah, thats right, I now have an ipod, i bought it with my first paycheck. I'm getting an acoustic electric with my next one!! I'm sooo excited!
But anyway, last night I went with Erin and Car to Barns and Noble to wait for the 7th Harry Potter book to come out. It was fun, although the last HP book I read was the 4th one, but thats ok, it was still fun. While we were waiting for midnight to roll around we picked up a "Would you rather..." book, which was hilarious, and gross at the same time. I cant remember much of them now, because my memory is about as long as my pinky hehe.
But so far my summer is going pretty good, except i miss the late nights with the girls, with all of us having jobs now and such, so that kinda sucks, but we still hang out, so I cant complain too much. In fact next weekend we are going to Noni's cottage in the Berkshires, which is going to be a lot of fun, even though ERIN ISNT GOING!! the brat. But i love her anyways.
Ahh I miss tenth grade. And the summer of tenth grade. They were both amazingly awesome, and I feel like i didnt take enough advantage of it. Its hard to believe i'm going to be a senior this year. I dont even want to think about it. Although i remember when i was in 5th grade thinking that it never would come, and that it was a lifetime away, and now it has crept up on me and is about to hit me smack in the face. Anyway, i'm determined to enjoy my senior year, even if i dont have any study halls. Stupid full schedules....grumble grumble... but i guess i cant grumble, i chose what courses i wanted to do. Damn me and my interest in multiple things....lol juuust kidding.
