OMG guys the preview, the preview for next week! *is dead*

But first, onto tonight's episode.

Oh Doctor, it's been a while but man, are you ever back. Outraged at a species treated unfairly, regretful about his inaction, urging the people he meets to think, to open their eyes to their surroundings. And oh did she ever refuse to see. (perfect PR, she was) He's starting to remind me more and more of 5 and I wonder whether that's deliberate.

And Donna, brave, compassionate Donna, fierce and very human and scared, and yet with all the human wisdom of her experiences, and still so much to learn. She's awesome. Shallow note: I want Donna's outfit from the beginning of this ep. I wonder whether I'm gonna say this about Catherine Tate's wardrobe every week...

And oh, whatshisname is such a fantastically disgusting baddie. He's so damn good at this! He was positively evil in Spooks, and completely icky here, and I'm sure I've seen him be vile someplace else as well. Hah!

I loved the action sequence with the big gripping thing. Like those things where you're supposed to fish for a cuddly toy! They'd certainly be more popular if we could fish for a Doctor, I'm telling you!

FRIENDS OF THE OOD UNITE! Oh god, I loved the solution. It made me scream with glee. And Donna's little WTF!face! Shades of Gridlock, of course, but that's ok.

And at the end, the Gallifrey theme - I've been casting!spoiled for the finale and I cannot wait to find out what's going on. The Ood will remember the Doctor!Donna for all eternity. Like they were turned into housegods last week. I wonder whether there's a significance to that.

And now I want it to be next week NOW! Sontarans! UNIT! Martha!!!!

OMG no, I'm not here next week! I have to spend the weekend sharing a hotel room with my dad, trying my hardest not to kill him. Oh noes!
