After quite an absence, I present you with...lots of fic!
Title: Sacrifice
Author: Slashisepic
Rating: T
Characters: Danny, Ethan, mentions of Connor/Abby
Word Count: 100
Summary: He's sacrificing everything.
Notes: From P100, Prompt 49
Danny tries not to think about what he’s given up, what he’s left behind again, and of his own free will this time. He doesn’t think they’ll blame him though; Connor and Abby will understand a little, at least. They’d do the same for each other, follow the other everywhere, through anything.
But there’s a difference between following someone out of love and following someone because it’s your fault they’re a killer, that when they’re killing people they’re killing that innocent person instead of you.
It’s a twisted sense of duty now, no longer love. He loved Patrick, not Ethan.
Title: Feathers
Author: Slashisepic
Rating: K+
Characters: S4 Team
Word Count: 100
Summary: Feathers; Matt's weakness.
Notes: For P100, Prompt 94.
Matt sneezed for the umpteenth time. "Becker, get those things through!"he demanded - or rather, snuffled in a demanding tone of voice.
Becker snickered. "Didn’t know you were allergic to feathers, Matt," he teased their team leader while Connor and Abby laughed uncontrollably in the background. Matt could even hear Jess laughing at him through the headset and he was sure she was taping everything via the CCTV for blackmail. And after that, it was only a matter of time until it spread throughout the entire ARC facility and maybe Prospero.
Matt, for lack of anything better to do, pouted.
Title: Chocolate
Author; Slashisepic
Rating: T
Characters: Jess, Danny
Word Count: 100
Summary: Something sweet.
Notes: For P100, Prompt 20
The first thing Danny eats upon his return to the present? Chocolate, offered by the new lady Jess. It’s even his favourite kind - Mint Chocolate. He eats it slowly, savouring the sweet taste. The sweetest food he’s had since being stranded in the past was a handful of something like raspberries he found a quite a while ago.
"You can have the whole bar," she offers. He almost refuses but shrugs his acceptance and takes the bar and pockets it.
Hours later, again on the other side of the anomaly, he eats a second piece of home, still savouring it.
Title: Camouflage
Author: Slashisepic
Rating: T
Characters: Matt, vague mentions of the ARC team
Word Count: 100
Summary: Finding yourself is hard when you don't know who you are.
Notes: For P100, Prompt 25
Matt had to blend in, always blend in. Before coming to the present when everything went wrong, he had to blend in with his environment, had to avoid the predators that roamed the landscape constantly.
After coming to this time, he had to blend differently. He had to fit in, not draw attention to himself, to not change the future.
After a while at the ARC, he didn’t have to camouflage himself. He didn’t have to push himself to fit a specific mold - he could be himself.
But who was he? Matt didn’t know. It was time to discover himself.
Title: Frozen
Author; Slashisepic
Rating: T
Characters: Danny, Ethan
Word Count: 100
Summary: What Patrick becomes leave Danny cold inside
Notes: For P100, Prompt 188
The moment he found out what is brother had done, what his baby brother Patrick had done...he turned cold inside. The person he’d given everything for...had thrown himself away, thrown himself into murder just to spite Danny, his big brother who’d failed him in the most important way.
Patrick had counted on him to save him but he hadn’t. He hadn’t and because of that...Danny shuddered, and hung his head, hiding the tears that were gathering in his eyes. He’d failed in his most important duty. Protecting his little brother - no wonder his parents had rejected him, their failed son.
Title: Stargazing
Author: Slashisepic
Rating: T
Characters: Matt, Becker, Jess, Connor, Abby.
Word Count: 100
Summary: Staring up at the stars.
Notes: For P100, Prompt 193
The ARC team was laying on a picnic blanket in roughly a circle, staring up at the starlight sky, not a cloud in the sky. Jess had dragged them out to point out various stars systems, building ‘team work’ her flimsy excuse, not that it was needed.
"That’s Cancer," Jess said, pointing up. "There’s Capricorn".
" Isn't that Capricorn, right Jess?" Abby asked, squinting up at the sky.
"No, Capricorn’s over there," Connor pointed out.
"Who should I believe?" Matt asked, grinning as the trio bickered.
Becker, to his left, snorted. "It’s your head, not mine. Agree with who you like."
