<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
"So, uh, when are we-" Mike's words were cut off as Harvey slammed the door in his face. Mike blinked at it for a couple seconds, before turning on his heel and heading down the hall.
His loss then, Mike thought in the elevator and snorted, going down to the lobby of Harvey's building. He walked out the doors and looked around at all the tall, pretty buildings around him. Mike frowned, now that Harvey wasn't in front of him anymore, he was bored. And when you're bored, what could be better than more drinking? Mike reasoned with himself.
He began walking down the street, canvassing for the nearest bar when he wasn't stumbling over his own feet. He finally spotted one across the street, a few blocks away from Harvey's apartment, and made his way over to it. He strode in, blissfully, drunkenly ignorant of the rainbow flag that hung outside.
Mike went straight to the bar and ordered a shot of tequila and grabbed an empty stool before he even glanced around the bar. It was loud and packed with people, mostly men. He had been in places like this before, mostly when he was drunk and desperate and knew he wouldn't be turned away. It wasn't that he was gay, he liked girls most of the time, it was just sometimes he liked guys too.
Mike threw back his shot, relishing the burn and the warm trail it left as it went down.
"Can I buy you another?" A deep voice said from behind him. Mike spun around and giggled at the man seated behind him. He was handsome, tall and dark and beefy. Mike dragged his eyes, not so secretly, up and down the other man's body. The other man smirked and for some reason Harvey flashed into Mike's mind. He quickly shook the image away. He smiled at the man.
"Why not?" Mike said smiling widely at him.
The man smiled at him and ordered a pair of shots. "I'm Nick by the way."
"I'm Mike" Mike said pointing to himself and slurring slightly. The bartender set down the two shots and the two men downed them.
"So, Mike, why are you in a suit, in a bar, on the weekend at......1:15 in the morning?" Nick asked.
Mike frowned slightly and leaned towards Nick. "Because my boss, Harvey, is a slave driver! He made me stay up and get drunk so I could get the boring stock stuff for him." Mike said matter-of -factly. "But why do you care?" Mike asked, pointing his finger at Nick.
Nick chuckled at Mike's drunken...ness. The blonde man was probably around his age but since he was drunk he sounded like a teenager. Nick found it strangely cute.
Nick leaned closer to Mike and rested a hand on Mike's thigh. "Because when you're in a suit, it just means it's more work for me to get you out of it." Nick said, his voice a little lower.
Mike laughed and pointed his finger at Nick knowingly. "Yo-You're smooth. I like you." Nick smiled at him. All of the sudden Mike perked up when something in his jacket vibrated. He frowned before fishing his cell phone out of his pocket.
"Go away Trevor." He muttered, angrily pressing the end call button.
"Who's Trevor?" Nick asked, "Is he your ex-boyfriend or something."
Mike looked at him, startled almost, like he was surprised that Nick was still there. "No, he's my best, no......my ex-best friend." Mike said with another little frown. Nick noticed as Mike's shoulders slumped slightly and Mike started to pout. Nick gently pried the cell phone out of Mike's hands and placed it, far away, on the bar behind them.
"Let's not talk about Trevor then, okay?" Nick said smiling at the blonde. "How about another round of shots?"
As soon as the next shot was in him, Mike felt warm and light and horny. He looked at Nick more closely. He liked the bigger man's arms and chest and his soft brown eyes. Nick's eyes were actually really pretty, all chestnut brown with little flecks of gold in them. He was staring into Nick's eyes, getting lost in them, and then the next thing he knew he was cutting Nick's talking off with a kiss. Nick was surprised for a moment before he opened his mouth and Trevor was the last thing on Mike's mind.

Harvey sighed frustratedly when his phone went off. If it was Mike again, he may actually kill the kid, no matter how many times he gave Harvey his little puppy dog stare. He picked up his cell phone and looked at the ID. He rolled his eyes and answered it.
"Mike, If you-" Harvey was cut off by a voice that was not his associates.
"Harvey Specter?" The male voice on the other line asked.
"Yes?" Harvey asked, not really sure if he wanted to know why some random person was calling him from Mike's phone.
The voice continued. "Yeah, number was the last dialed on the phone of the kid dude doing his best to get fucked on my bar. Seriously, on my bar. He doesn't seem too concerned that he no longer has his phone, or maybe he didn't notice, but either way he looks like he's twenty and reminds me of my kid brother and I'd really appreciate it if you could come do something about him."
Harvey was shocked into silence for a few moments. That was a lot of information to process. "Uh, Where is he?" He said finally.
Mike, under no circumstances, could act out like this in public. It looked bad for the firm and for Harvey. At least that's what Harvey kept telling himself as he pulled up to the bar. He parked, walked in and made his way to the bar, fully intent on finding the bartender that had Mike's phone and getting him to point out Mike quickly so they could get out of this place as fast as possible. That was his intent, of course, before he spotted his associate doing exactly what the bartender had described.
Mike was pinned against the bar by Nick's weight. They were kissing, sloppily, with lots of tongue and touching. Nick's hands had somehow found their way to his ass and Mike had a hand up Nick's shirt. Harvey felt a spike of white-hot..something run through him and he clenched his fists.
Harvey stormed over to where the two were and he nearly ripped the, now protesting, guy off of Mike. One dark look in his direction had the man putting his hands up as a sign of surrender. Mike opened his eyes when the warm body left his. He blinked up owlishly at Harvey before breaking into a huge smile.
"Hey! Harvey!" Mike said excitedly, "This is my new very friendly friend Nick...but he's very handsy, so be careful." Mike said, slurring. Harvey stared at him, disappointed and angry, but relieved that he wasn't high again just drunk. Harvey grabbed Mike's arm and dragged him through the bar.
He stopped when a man behind the bar waved a phone at him. He grabbed it from him. The man thanked him and Harvey just nodded, concentrating on getting Mike out of the bar, which was harder than it should have been since the younger man seemed to be fascinated by everything they walked by.
That only made Harvey even more pissed off. He finally got the kid out of the door and had pushed him into his car. Mike just stared at him blankly. Harvey sighed and leaned over the blonde to buckle him in. Mike's hand went into his hair and Harvey shot up. He glared at Mike disbelievingly.
"It's really soft." Mike said, looking pleased with his new discovery. Harvey closed his eyes and shook his head, willing the irritation to go away. There wouldn't be any point in yelling at the man now since he probably wouldn't remember it. Harvey got in the car and started it up, driving away from the bar quickly.
Harvey focused on the road and tried to keep his mind off the young man seated next to him that seemed to just attract trouble. Harvey glanced over at Mike and saw the young man was asleep, head against the window. What was he going to do with him?
When they got to Harvey's apartment, Harvey's because Harvey didn't know Mike's address and didn't trust Mike to give him the right one and he was really fucking tired, Harvey woke up Mike, who rubbed at his eyes and looking around confused. Harvey opened the door and got Mike out of the car. Mike leaned heavily against Harvey, still half asleep, as they walked to the elevator.
Harvey was honestly surprised when Mike didn't start talking as they walked down the hallway to his apartment. He had never seen the kid so quiet and if he were honest, it was kind of weirding him out. He helped Mike into his apartment and got him to lie down on the sofa. He took off Mike's suit jacket and shirt, definitely not looking at his associate's body; he also got his slacks off. He threw a blanket over him. Harvey turned Mike onto his side and prayed to god the younger man wouldn't throw up in the night.
If someone saw this they would probably think Harvey was being nice taking care of Mike, but they'd be dead wrong. Harvey was just being logical. He couldn't do or say anything to Mike when he was like this, and he needed to make sure Mike would understand that this behavior was not acceptable.
"Sleep tight puppy," Harvey said to a nearly asleep Mike, "because you are gonna be in big trouble tomorrow"

Mike woke up in the morning and the first thing he thought was that it was too damn bright. The next was that he really didn't want to think because his head felt like it was going to explode.
"Well, look who's finally up" A familiar voice said somewhere near him. Mike groaned and forced his eyes open. He blinked several times before his eyes would let him focus and he spotted Harvey in sweats and a t-shirt sitting across from him, working on a laptop. Harvey glanced up at him and narrowed his eyes.
Mike sat up very slowly, trying, and failing, to fight a headache and the feeling of nausea. He breathed deep and willed himself not to throw up. He swallowed hard and composed himself enough to look at Harvey.
"So do you want to tell me what you did or should I?" Harvey said with a rueful grin.
Mike groaned. "No, I...I remember, fuck, why did I do that?" He clutched his head in his hands. Harvey raised an eyebrow.
"You remember?" Harvey asked.
"Unfortunately, yes," Mike said, "Did I really make out with that guy on the bar?" Mike asked pathetically, his cheeks getting pink as he began to remember exactly what had happened in the bar.
Harvey gritted his teeth. "Yes." He bit out, "I nearly had to rip him off of you." Mike looked at him strangely and Harvey could almost feel the "you do care" coming on.
"You can't do that Mike!" Harvey continued looking at Mike harshly. Mike had the decency to look ashamed. "It's none of my business who you sleep with, but when you might as well just be having sex in a crowded public bar, it becomes not only my business, but the firm's as well. Do you realize the shit you and, because I'm responsible for you, me could get in if that somehow had gotten publicized? It would paint the firm as irresponsible and stupid." Harvey said and could see as Mike grew more and more ashamed.
"I'm sorry." Mike said. He hated disappointing Harvey. He couldn't stand those stupid looks Harvey gave him when he screwed up.
"As punishment, rookie, you're on proof duty for a week as soon as this case is closed." Harvey said and walked into the kitchen. Mike was good at proofing but it was boring and tedious and something that Mike would not like. Mike's head shot up but the protest died on his lips when he saw how pissed Harvey still was when he walked back into the room.
Harvey pressed a glass of water and two aspirin into Mike's hands. "You have fifteen minutes to shower and get ready or you're walking to the firm." Mike nodded and quickly took the two pills before standing and slowly making his way to where Harvey was pointing.
Mike was done in twelve minutes. Harvey smirked and thought good boy. Harvey watched as Mike's glances around the apartment lingered on the coffee maker in Harvey's kitchen.
"C'mon!" Harvey yelled from the door, "You can get coffee at the office, I am not going to be late."
Mike got himself near door as fast as possible without sending his head spinning. When he got there Harvey looked as annoyed as ever and started walking down to the elevator as soon as Mike was near the door. Mike closed it and tried to catch up with Harvey.
"Hey Harvey?" Mike said as they waited for the elevator.
"What?" Harvey growled out, still irritated at the entire situation.
"Thank You" Mike said seriously and followed with a bright smile. The elevator doors dinged open and Mike and Harvey walked in. Harvey looked over at his associate, the smile still in place, and couldn't bring himself to be so pissed at Mike anymore. He still thought he was an idiot, but that damn smile made him not want to murder him anymore.
Or maybe it made him want to kiss him.
Either way the smile was stupid.
