Tony sat at his desk, typing away on his computer. For the first time in months he felt at ease. The headaches and insomnia had gone away completely since three weeks ago, when Ducky changed his medication. Plus, these new meds didn't seem to have any serious side effects!
"Hey Tony" Abby said, standing in front of his desk, complete with purse and parisole. "Me and Matt and Pacci are gonna go grab some lunch. You gonna come?" Abby asked expectantly.
Tony's stomach gave a little lurch of protest at the mention of food. He swallowed. "Um, actually Abs, I'm not really that hungry and Gibbs would kill me if he saw I went out to lunch before finishing this report." Tony said. Okay so not having an appetite and having your stomach protest even the thought of food, could be considered "serious side effects" to some people, but Tony knew he could handle it. Besides, he thought he needed to lose a few pounds anyway.
"Oh." Abby said. Tony glanced up at her. She was frowning at him, concerned. "Okay, well, we'll be at the little diner down the street if you finish your report." Abby said.
"Okay. Thanks Abs." Tony said smiling at her, before turning back to his computer.
Abby bit her lip, worried. Something was hinky, she just knew it. She had to go talk to Gibbs.

When Gibbs got down to Abby's lab, he was met with a pacing, black and spike studded ball of hyper energy, seemingly muttering to herself about god knows what. When he entered the lab, though, Abby nearly pounced on him. She gave him a quick hug and then stepped back to poke her finger into his chest.
"What is wrong with Tony!”? She asked him.
Gibbs looked at her confused. He opened his mouth to say something.
"No Gibbs! Something's really wrong! Tony's not eating!" Abby said.
Gibbs sighed. "Abby-"
"I'm serious! He hasn't brought anything to eat to work in two weeks and he keeps turning me and Pacci down for lunch! It's weird Gibbs!" Abby said, pacing again.
"I'm sure he's just eating at home and on your clubbing dates or something" Gibbs said, trying to calm her down while trying to not get unnecessarily concerned. Tony was a big boy; he could take care of himself.
Abby paused in her pacing to shoot Gibbs a confused glance. "Clubbing dates? What? Tony's like gay or bi or whatever. And no, he's not eating when we hang out on the week end either!" She said.
Gibbs did something like a double take at what Abby said. That was a lot of information to get in a very short amount of time. Tony was interested in guys? That could be worth exploring. He shook his head slightly to refocus on Abby.
Abby turned toward him, wringing nervous hands. "I'm worried Gibbs. He's lost weight, like a lot. It can't be healthy. I don't know what’s wrong!" She said as Gibbs wrapped his arms around her comfortingly. He had noticed the weight loss too, it wasn't too drastic, but it was enough to be noticeable. He didn't know how to approach Tony about it, of even if he should. He kissed the top of Abby's head.
"I'll talk to him Abby." He said into her hair. "Don't worry."

"DiNozzo!" Gibbs barked as he walked back into the bullpen. Tony sat up straighter in his chair, startled.
"Yeah Boss?" He asked. Gibbs looked hard at his agent, wondering how exactly to go about this.
"Why haven't you been eating?" Gibbs asked. Being blunt seemed to work the best when talking to Tony.
Tony blinked, he had thought he was being discreet, but it was Gibbs. The man didn't miss a thing.
"What are you-" Tony began to deny.
"Cut the crap, Tony." Gibbs said, glaring. Tony ignored how his heart skipped a beat when Gibbs used his first name. "Abby...and me, have both noticed that you lost weight too quickly to just be exercise. So, out with it. What the hell is going on?"
Tony sighed; forcing his appearance to remain calm, while inside his mind was racing, trying to think of an excuse. Gibbs looked at him expectantly. Tony glanced around, struggling to come up with something before...Bingo.
"It's just...I've had this stomach virus all week, Boss. I thought it would go away quickly, but it's taking its time. It's really nothing Boss." Tony lied smoothly.
Gibbs frowned, that explained a lot, but not the pills he'd seen Tony take every once and a while, when the younger agent thought he wasn't there. He knew there was more to the story, a lot more.
"Listen, Tony, You-" Gibbs was cut off as his desk phone rang. He picked it up and barked at the person on the other end. Tony grabbed his gear, relieved that the conversation was over.
"Dead marine, apparently it's a suicide." Gibbs said as he walked to elevator with Tony hot on his heels.
"Oh and Tony?" Gibbs said as they waited for the elevator. Tony looked at him expectantly. "The conversation back there? It's not over." Gibbs said as the elevator doors slid open.
Tony's heart sank.
