It's been a long long time
Busy as fuck, too. Did a little traveling down to Marina Del Rey for a sunny week before coming home to surgery to remove breast cancer, and then radiation to [we hope] throw any other little startups into complete disarray. I know the arguments for and against radiation, and went with it with the proviso that I would do a lot of immune/cellular boosting via diet to go along with it. Exhausting, radiation is, but am over the most of it now, skin effects healed up, and I'm actually looking forward to going back to work part-time in a couple weeks.
But whoa, Nellie! it's been a long 5 months from diagnosis to being able to just do stuff without thinking about it again. So far so good- tumor margins were clear, lymph nodes came back clean, no chemo. Lots of Netflix *laughs* & green smoothies.
& now you will probably be treated to more long-term radio silence, since I'm not writing fic nor following much, and just don't have a lot to say otherwise. But wanted to check in, leave a record, and just say I do think of my LJ friends, and wish you each and all well, and am grateful for the effect you've singly and severally had on my life. It's no exaggeration to say that without the friends I've made on LJ, this last 5 months would have been a lot less fun, and a lot more lonely.
