Tuesday update of a sort
The really grand news is: my student loan money came through again [never mind that my debt is now up to $45,000- i'll pay it off between now and when I die] and so I was able to do two really important big things:
buy my macBook to have at work, and to take to bed with me when sitting becomes tedious [and, possibly, depending on how good the wireless is here at the house, outdoors, too- haven't tried that yet];
and buy my tickets to Europe for this summer. A month in Germany, a week in Scotland, and a week to spend between visiting my godson and his wife [if I can get hold of them] and London/Southampton. There will be more details, you betcha, as plans firm up.
The downside of course is, today's the day after the big excitement of the laptop arriving and the ticket purchase going through [anyone have experience with trip cancellation/interruption insurance? advice? recommendations?] and so today is 'kickback' day, when my usual lack-of-solid-sleep on Monday night, combined with 8am class [missed, today], 1pm class [must go] and work tonight at 10:30pm is augmented [demented? lol] by the 'equal but opposite reaction' of OMG what'veIdone!.
Well. Onward. I have mate, have brushed my hair and made a bite to eat, and will work on my critical thinking homework a bit before class.
