Updatage on a Thursday afternoon
First, because no-one commented and I feel sure it's because everyone's FL is exploding with returns from vacation, to school, and the general turn of the seasons, please? If only to enjoy Walt Whitman's prescient outrage: Go here. Thanks.
Second, I spent part of yesterday's sleepless evening checking all the links in my links list, and was reminded that I link to them because they please, inspire, or encourage me. I don't like this thing LJ's up to, making us responsible back to the beginning of time for anything we've linked to, but I suspect that as I go back and check links (because I will- like medicines and foods, even links go stale- no point in keeping rancid links around; and I'll be adding a tag called 'external link' or some such to each post. Odd, just like moving- going through every pile, every box, this time, even in LJ).
One that I'm adding is Idealist.org. I've been following this site for nearly five years now, used it to make a few connections, and like how it works, what I see, how it's helped me. It's international, intelligent, compassionate, and practical. Take a look, tell me what you think?
