"Caravans of Gor" - a new low.

I went looking for an image of what I imagine the well-dressed tharlarion rider might consider suitable garb.

Hey, if it's got studs/and or chains on, that means it's rough 'n' tough 'n' really manly!

...The scariest thing about that icon is that it is entirely appropriate in context. Ye gods.

You turn the words into pictures, and oh boy.

It's like he has no visual imagination, so it never dawned on him exactly what his description of toned men wearing leather harnesses and thigh boots - and nothing else - would look like.

You dowse up a photo of his ideal man, though, and you start saying "Come on, John, who are you kidding?"

It's all there in canon!

Oh, yeah.

I'd pay to see that!

On the other hand, do we want to expose the nice gentlemen to the ravings of Mr Norman?

I daresay that fund would have a lot of contributors. But you have a point re the nice gentlemen. Hm...maybe if we tell them it's to try to get him out of the closet? Or at least to give him such severe cogdis that he'd shut up. :D

You know what Dark Horse should do for the launch party? deiseach August 15 2007, 20:12:54 UTC
I'm pretty sure they're going to have some kind of bash to celebrate the re-launch of the famous and influential Gor series, at which the renowned author would be the guest of honour ( ... )

And of course I do keep wondering if, once he got over his shock, he would be ever so happy to try the submissive role. He does detail the slave stuff so lovingly....
