I realized recently that I've pretty much given up on almost every band that has any sort of socio-political stance on any topic, this may have coincided with me listening to tons of garage rock and power pop however. Speaking of which, I can't get enough of these genres and if you have any suggestions of lesser known bands that I should check out please step up.
