I won! ...In my dream.
Ahem. Y'know me, and my strange dreams? (I didn't tell you about the one where I decapitated Screech but hey...)
Well this one was CRAZY. I had a dream I was on Maury (Povich) today, competing in an ATHLETIC competition, with my sister and some other chick named Jessica. (That's laughable enough, trust me!)
On top of that, the contest consisted of three events (the first of which I've forgotten). A treadmill that's way too thin with a piece of plastic to rest on in the middle was the second event, and you had to see who could run the longest without having to rest. My sister won that one.
The third one was a bunch of treadmills that you had to dance with (ala OK Go video). There were a bunch of different styles, some with things you could hang on, others with things you could do the Running Man on...and I won this. I WON AN ATHLETIC COMPETITION.
Adding to the strangeness, despite the fact that there were NO CATS INVOLVED, the prize you won for winning this competition was a bright red plastic can about the size of a huge trashcan, full of all kinds of kitty goodies (catnip, toys, etc.). At one point, I asked Maury "What if I don't have a cat?" ('cause I don't) and he pointed me to a stack of cards where you could write your name, number, and whether or not you had a cat. I checked NO instead of YES, but I woke up before I could see what I won instead.
More of the strange! This competition was not only on NATIONAL TELEVISION, but it was the night of my senior prom! I don't remember much about the prom part, but I remember there was applause, and I was wearing a pretty cream colored dress with blue trim. I remember looking fuckin' awesome too.
So I won and went to prom. Great dream, right? Yeah, 'cept the fact that it's TOTALLY FUCKING CRACKED! O.O
