Big shooting water
Today was cool.. me, Art, Maryann and Devon drove out to Geysir, then continued up to Gulfoss. There was a lot of snow everywhere, and it was kind of cold. Devon and Maryann didn't dress for the weather, hence they stayed in the car or the cafe when me and Art went exploring.
Geysir was cool.. it went off like, every 15 minutes. I got 1 maybe two good pictures cuz it was too cold to hang out longer. Gulfoss was.. well.. just a waterfall... but it was cool. I took some more pictures, did some macro shots.. etc..
Driving back, we come up with the bright idea to try and go across a 4WD road in the mountains over to Thingvellir... yeah.. Toyota Corrolla with studded snow tires DOESN'T MEAN off-road. Stuck.. we got. SUVS came up the other side of the hill shortly.. yay! They all drove past... as I am waving my hands... they were laughing. Great! But wait... the last SUV stops, and this girl gets out. Yay!! We're saved!! :)
We get the car out, follow them down the hill, and head back. Good times!
