1. How many TVs do you have in your home?
Five TVs in all. I'm serious when I say I'm a media junkie. There was never any hope for me.
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week?
Too much... Even when there's nothing on I have the TV on because it makes me feel calmer, and it used to lull me to sleep at night.
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children?
Not television in general, but I do think there are some things kids shouldn't be watching. I'd like to think most kids are bright and realize everything aired on TV, save the news, is fictional, but some kids just aren't. I don't think TV should be blamed for this, however... it's better to watch a gunfight on TV then feel the need to act it out. A bright kid would know a real gunfight would be bad, but a dim kid... the dim ones need their parental guardians there telling them what's wrong and right when watching more adult television. It's just entertainment. At least when you're watching TV no one is really dying for your enjoyment, a la gladiators and the like.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken?
Stargate, Firefly, and select episodes of Jeremiah.
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
Geez, do you really have to ask? A slash network, the entire time-block! Some subtext, some text. Lots of sci fi and fantasy. Maybe I'd try and buy the rights to Undressed so I could air it late at night on SlashTV and change it so that the gay subplots are plots and the straight plots are subplots. I'd try to make a few original series', and air Stargate, Firefly, Jeremiah (heh), Odyssey 5, Gundam Wing, and other misc. shows. Ah, to dream.
