Attention, awesome listeners and followers! The Slashcast staff are opening up the podcast to you now. We want our dialogues and episodes to incorporate as many voices as possible, so we are instituting a new policy.
Starting tonight, after every long-term planning meeting, we will be posting the subjects of the next couple of meta discussions. That's where you come in: If you think that you have something awesome to share on the topic and would like to participate, let us know! If you know of someone you'd love to hear talk about the topic, also let us know! Just drop us a comment on livejournal, an ask on tumblr, or an email telling us which month's meta discussion you're interested and why, or telling us who we should talk to about bringing in on the discussion.
The topics for the next two meta discussions are as follows:September: Back-to-school. This discussion will center on School AUs, de-aging of characters, and fandoms where school plays a heavy element. This discussion will take place on or before August 21st.
October: Slashing Supernatural Characters. Why do people love vampires, werewolves, etc. so much? Scheduling of this discussion TBD.
So, again - if you know of anyone (yourself included) who might be perfect for either of these discussions, drop us a line!
