Oh yay! Thank you to the Mods for the early posting and thank you very much to my writer! I love your story.

"There ain't anything to see here, you idiot." ==> This just made me smile because it's so silly and warm and real.

But his lips grazed Viggo's temple, pressing a soft kiss at the edge of his hairline. ==> And this is just lovely. Such a small gesture but so intimate.

Like this, surrounded by near-complete darkness and the silence of the forest, Viggo could make believe that they were the only people in the world. They could do whatever they wanted, witnessed only by the trees around them and the cold air that teased at their skins. ==> So gentle and evocative. Lovely.

And then to be followed by THIS:

If they were the only ones left surviving, he knew that the two of them would end up killing each other by the end of the month. And that was an optimistic guess. ==> LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

"Vig, you get lost two feet away from your own house. I have a self-preservation instinct." ==> *snort*

I love the jovial tone between these two throughout this story, and after reading it on a frigid day in my neighbourhood just as the sun was nearly out of the evening sky, it was perfect!

I love that Sean's trust in Viggo is implicit in the fact that he feels annoyed, not frightened, by being in the woods in the dark. And Viggo laughing is always lovely.
