Oh my goodness, I LOVE it!!! Thank you so much.

Of particular enjoyment for me - 'he hates it, fucking hates it, when something isn't right for Billy.'

I think that says so much, almost everything really, there is to say about Dom in regard to Billy. Billy blushing is also profoundly endearing - who other than Dom could make that happen in quite the same way. (Picturing his adorable little freckles now - licks.)

The mental image of Dominic allowing Billy to process his own thoughts and consider all of the choices is also profoundly erotic.

'Interest stirring elsewhere'...of course it is. Go Dom!

So wonderful. It's warm and tingly and so so right. I love how they are together; love how Billy's always been Dom's constant, steady figure, and now it's Dom being steady for Billy, a positive light to lead him where he wants to go.

Billy's considering something, and it doesn't look like it's the first time he's thought this, but maybe the first time while Dom was actually there, and that's a new layer to them that excites Dom.

Timeless is so the word for it. I loved this glimpse into their lives, and the volumes beyond the glimpse that it speaks of. The look that Billy gives Dom at the end, that you describe so well, is just terrific.

Man, I just want to hug this fic. I love the way the ending loops back around to the beginning, with their relationship being timeless- which is basically exactly what I was thinking when watching that recent interview clip. The bit about Dom's being protective of Billy was just absolutely pitch-perfect, too.
