(no subject)
Eventful times this week. Started up with lectures/seminars again for my (final!) three courses:
- Detective Fiction
- Victorian to Modern
- Post-War to Post-Modern
The latter two are compulsory and I am not particually looking forward to Modernism/Post-Modernism. I have quite a distate for it, but, I suppose, that will give me a lot to say about it. Also, our post-war selection is a bit disappointing if you ask me, but there you go. Detective Fiction, however, is wonderful.
Thursday was Chinese New Year of course, year of the Rabbit. Sooo it was home times this weekend to celebrate with the various chinese family members. Took the boyfriend up too of course. Wandered round Manchester and generally had a pretty awesome time, actually. =D Hope your New Year is filled with luck.
Tomorrow I have HIKE OF DOOM. Okay. Not doom. But a Hike. In a valley. With me. The terribly unfit. Let's see how this ends.
AAAND then on the 17th, the Boyfriend and I are celebrating 2 year anniversary and we're going to spend the day in London. No real reason, no concrete plan, just to go to London, chill out in Camden and generally have fun. =) I still find it strange that my longest relationship prior to this was 6 weeks long...
Anyway, attempting to catch up on the flist. I may not comment but I stalk, I read.
And I have not yet watched Supernatural. I am kindof mleh about it, whereas Angi is on TENTERHOOKS waiting for me to get back in order to watch it with her XD I'm kindof more interested in Castle and generally flailing like a moron over tthat.
