Author Notes: Um... It really isn't that good. If I have time I'll try to write something else for this challenge.

The office was small. It contained a desk and two chairs, one behind the desk and one next to the door. Usually it was quiet except for the red-haired young man behind the desk. At the moment though, the room seemed to be filled to the limits by one man.

“I shall never quite understand you, Weasley,” Lucius Malfoy’s tone was one of amusement. The blonde man allowed a flitting smile to cross his face. “You always manage to screw everything up, turn it around, and then make it work for you. I hate to admit, and I will kill you if you tell anyone else, but I envy you at times.”

Percy Weasley tried to hide his pleased smile behind his hand as he glanced over some papers on his desk. He instantly tensed though when he felt a hand on his shoulder and felt the elder Malfoy breath on his neck.

“Do you regret giving everything up for this?” Lucius’ voice was a mere whisper as he slid his hand down Percy’s back and perched himself on the desk in front of the Weasley, pulling himself close to the younger man. They matched eyes for a split moment and then their lips met hungrily.

Lucius broke the kiss first and stood up, carefully tucking his long white locks behind his ears. He smirked down at Percy, who could not help but smile back. Percy knew almost nothing about this man except the things that everyone knew. He did not give affection easily. Percy admired him.

“Well?” Lucius asked, his stone gray eyes piercing Percy’s green-eyed gaze, “Do you regret it; leaving your family behind on your pursuit of power? Leaving everything in exchange for what you have now?” That flitting smile appeared again as Percy answered.

“No.”

the end.
