Lazily Killing the Last of a Jar of the Strongest Stuff You Can Drink

This weekend was awesomesauce. Sister and I went and stayed in Chapel Thrill with britfacexx. We had such a good time, went shopping where she got a totally awesome new purse, ate California Pizza Kitchen, and played Rummikub. Seriously. Fantastic time. ALSO! I side-tripped over to Raleigh and met amor_remanet. VERY AWESOME INDEED.
In other news, this will be my last week of work for the summer. We're doing Jungle Book (The Disney Version) and I really think it's going to be fantastic. For one, we have a real set that I helped design and build. It consists of 11 platforms, ranging from 7 inches to 5 feet, some cubes of various sizes, four gigantic trees in the background, and "foliage" hanging from the ceiling. It looks so awesome. I will post pictures after wards. Then the costumes are fun. Baloo the bear is wearing blue mechanic's coveralls, a ratty fur coat, fingerless gloves, and a beanie with bear ears. Bagheera the panther is wearing a very ratty tux with the tails tied into one "tail." Shere Khan the tiger is a rock star. Adam is doing a real lighting design and I'm doing a real sound design and it's going to be great. Then again, I don't know why I was expecting anything less. Jeremy is directing. This show is going to rock so hard.
Finally (for now) I would like to share my new favorite song. The Avett Brothers' The Ballad of Love and Hate. Check it out, it is so wonderful.
