Seester Drama
Okay, for anybody that's been out of the loop on the events of this weekend, I have her permission to fill you in.
On Friday night, she sortof had a suicide attempt. I'm pretty sure it wasn't whole-hearted, since she's a smart, strong girl and I think she could have done a much better job if she'd really been trying.
Be that as it may, she didn't get around to telling me about it, but went on in to work on Saturday, and told her co-workers, one of whom called me.
Jason and I were over at Jenn's, getting ready to take part in an attempt to film the Time Warp for a demo video (haven't seen how that's turning out yet).
We bailed, went to her work, and pretty much gave her the choice of leaving quietly out the backdoor with us, or going out the front door with the police...but either way, she was getting some professional help.
She was admitted to Laureate Saturday evening, for a minimum of three days. We saw her tonight and she seemed to be doing well. Very upbeat, and I'm pretty sure it was genuine. She might be getting out as early as tomorrow; it depends on how they evaluate her tomorrow, I think.
The rest of the weekend has also been busy, but I'll post about it later (if I get around to it). The biggie is that she's finally getting treatment, and hopefully things will get better.
