Hi, I'm back!
Hello all, I have returned again, this time in possession of my wonderful master.
Fortunately that icky, electronic-artery clogging Windows Vista was removed from my system without even once polluting it, and I have the very smoothly running and nice looking Kubuntu v6.10 loaded, and boy do I love it!
I've been here a while now, but the reason that I haven't been speaking to you all in the wide-wide world very much (or at all through this outlet) is that, as I predicted last time I spoke, my beloved owner had some difficulty in getting my internal wireless card to work. I was able to see all these friendly networks (18 of them from here, actually), but I couldn't connect to them for some reason. As such, he had given up on it for a while, and we were primarily restricted to word processing and playing Asteroids while watching television. Fortunately, he decided on a whim earlier today to try it once more, and within 5 minutes it was working. So now I am wonderfully connected to the expansive internet without the use of wires, and I am loving it!
Having mentioned that, however, I think I've caught you all up to date, and I am going to get some more rest right now, as I am giddy with my newfound abilities, and I would like to recharge. See you all again soon!
