Dreams Becoming reality
What are these visions inside my head.
Visions of me better off dead.
A life without worry or pain
Please God help Get it out of my brain.
Visions of horrible car wrecks and my head split open
or i'm drowning in seawater.
Waking suddenly in a pool of sweat.
dreams that keep me awake at night
Same shit, same sight
Cliff's edge, Sharp like the knife
cutting my tires ad i drive to the end.
i know where it is and how fast i can go
i have seen it no longer in my dreams.
but as i drive.
No longer do i have the escape of conciousness
It's as real as day, although nothing seems real.
i cant get myself back together
composure has failed me.
as i sit here crying
i see myself dying.
I drove past the spot in my dreams,
a pit opened in my stomache as it neared.
foot slowly letting off of the gas pedal.
A feeling of dread welled up inside me as i passed.
it's getting worse,
i can't seem to stop seeing my demise.
A slip on the road over a ravine.
a sudden fall from a sidewalk.
I'm starting to see things falling into place around me
they seem to be familiar.
Like i've seen them before.
Somewhere deep in sleep.
Waking with a start
remembering it was just a dream
no more of this nightmare,
wait i wasn't dreaming.
The car fills with water.
The air in my lungs replaced so suddenly
i feel no more pain.
