Nassau Jury Duty
Today is Friday 2/5 and I have a field trip to an art museum with 88 5th graders. Granted, all the 5th grade teachers are going, but I am the "lead" coordinator of the field trip, and the one who had to put in the forms.
I got a Jury Duty call in and low and behold, after an entire week of calling in to see if my number was called, it was called thursday night for today (friday).
So instead of an Art Field trip, I am typing to you from the "wireless cafe" inside of Nassau County's Surpreme Court building for jurors. I gave in my paperwork, and now I just get to wait.
Weeee!
