US Air thought you were going to get off easy didn't you? You're the worst of all!
So Heather and I drove 2 and a half hours through Tropical storm Ernesto to go a measley 64 miles. "Where to?" you might ask...
I'll tell you. Bass Ackwards Newport News, VA. and because US Air flies Cheap from Newport News. The only problem is, they don't actually fly. What they do is, book flights at a cheaper rate. Then people come to the airport ready for travel. Instead, they are told that the flight is cancelled. But instead of returning the passengers money, they keep it for themselves. They tell you that you'll get the money between 2 and 3 months later, but by that point most people will have forgotten about it. It's actually a pretty good business model.
Anyway, for the second time in 3 months, our flight from Newport News to Albany was cancelled due to inclement weather after we had fought through traffic.
Hopefully we can fly up tomorrow morning. We're scheduled to, but I'll believe it when I'm landing in Albany.
