Happy Summer Everybody!
Well June 1st is upon us, and that means summer. There have been several other clues that summer was upon us. The heat and humidity (the last 3 days have crested into the mid 90's with humidity 50-70%), the long days, Heather has been breaking her "long pants" rule lately and showing a little leg (which has made me happy,) several local concert series have had their kickoff events (I plan to see SouLive, Blues Traveler, Nickel Creek, and maybe a few others this summer.) Summer is always ushered in by the Richmond Greek Festival which happens to be this weekend. mmmmmmm. Souvlaki,Tzatziki, Moussaka, Spanakopita and a bottle of wine!
A few more trips to the beach, maybe a camping trip or two, a weekend in New York, Kickball, Disc Golf, and being lazy!
I'm looking forward to an excellent summer.
