hooray for laundry
I've never been so excited to do laundry in my life. After three weeks, I finally have full laundry capabilities in my house.
My washer is a super sweet Fisher & Paykel GWL15. It came with the house but it didn't work even though it was brand new. Finally got it fixed under warranty today. According to the EnergyStar tag, you could run this thing 10 times a week and it would cost $14 per YEAR, including hot water. I have a hard time believing that, but hey, whatevah. It must be pretty damn efficient anyway.
The dryer is a Whirlpool / Estate (their "value" brand) basic gas model. Nothing fancy but it seems to work well and it's pretty quiet. As an added bonus, I managed to install it without blowing up the house.
So bring your laundry over and do it at my place.
