Just how diverse IS my music selection?

I think it's good to have a wide range of things that you can really listen to and enjoy. Not just a few bands, not just a few genres, but a really WIDE spectrum.

So I thought I'd look at twenty-six songs that I really enjoy that are on my playlist and bask in the variety that is my musical soul.
(No, I didn't choose these entirely at random, I'm really trying to look at the spectrum, kay?)

1. The Great Valley-12 Girls Band
2. Blood Sugar Sex Magik-Red Hot Chili Peppers*
3. Tomorrow-Annie
4. Skullcrusher Mountain-Jonathan Coulton
5. Wakko's Two Note Song-Animaniacs
6. Laura-Scissor Sisters
7. Dime-Cake
8. Tsunami-Prozzak
9. Multiple Jacks-POTC Sountrack
10. We Both Go Down Together-The Decemberists
11. The Metronome Song-Ash Prod
12. Walk of Life-Dire Straits
13. Peter on the White Sea-Al Stewart
14. Mal's Song-Michelle Dockrey
15. Dance Anthem of the 80s-Regina Spektor
16. Better than Anything-Bob Dorough
17. Peter, Peter-Leonard Bernstein's peter pan
18. Think About Your Troubles-Harry Nilsson
19. Jack and Sally Montage-Nightmare Before Christmas Soundtrack
20. Sexyback-Justin Timberlake
21. Somebody Come and Play-Sesame Street
22. Beatnik Rodeo-Naked to the World
23. Space Lasers-Brooke Lunderville
24. Dress Up In You-Belle and Sebastian
25. Every Other Time-LFO
26. Lady Marmalade-Christina, Lil Kim, Maya, Pink

Now I think what you have there is some true, true variety.
And I love it!

*Now what's really interesting about this song coming up at number two is, I was trying to think of songs at clicking the next button on random at the same time, and I thought, "I think Blood Sugar Sex Magik should be next, that song is pretty different...but I'll just see what comes up next on random, first..." and out of 1525 songs, that was what came up next. Now THAT was a spiritual rush.
