weekendsauce
so this was a pretty good weekend. after starting classes this past wednesday, the weekend came and i was happy. here's a quick rundown.
friday night i saw dragonforce w/ all that remains and horse the band. i was pissed because the show was supposed to start at 8, we got there at 7.45, and horse the band was already playing. i was not happy. but all that remains was really good, i fucked up some hardcore dancers in the pit, and went crowd surfing a few times. and then dragonforce came on and it was pretty neat/funny. the organized chant of the entire crowd yelling "CUNT" really loud was quite amusing. but they were very good, i was pleased. then we saw jackass 2. that movie was one of the funniest ones i've seen in awhile. as much as it must suck to do some of that stuff that's painful/disgusting, it has to be so much fun just to be one of those guys/make money for doing that kind of stuff. it really put me in the mood to do something fun/stupid. saturday we had a giant family party thing for my nephew's and my mom's birthdays. lots of people in our tiny house, but it was fun. then me, todd, jason and karla watched heavy weights since i got it for todd on dvd. it was great. today i watched the bengals beat the steelers, then we took on some of the local gangstas from westwood/cheviot at cheviot fieldhouse in a game of pigskin and rocked them pretty hard. that, followed up by some more nfl and then some madden with todd, it made for a fantastic end to a great weekend. life is good right now, but that will change when i wake up at 9 am to goto class tomorrow. oh well.
