Most people recognize that seeking the death of others is wrong. But not Hamas and not Islam in general. Honor Killings are a way of life, in orthodox Islam. In fact, they are a religious obligation. From that, it is a very short logical trip to rationalized genocide.Someone only has to say Mohammed's name in the wrong tone and it is considered a religious obligation to kill them, even if they are not Muslim.. In fact, especially if they are not Muslim. Because they are infidels, not followers of Allah, unworthy of serious consideration or rights. The founders of
Hamas and
Hizbollah were Islamic Imams, religious leaders, and
this is at the core of their beliefs.
Remember that short trip to genocide? Creating an Islamic state where Israel is now, along with the slaughter of every Jew in Israel, is nothing less than a statement of the intent to commit genocide. Remember that these are religious leaders that pretend to speak with the full authority of their religion.
Yes,
what is happening right now in Gaza is horrible. However, Hamas always seems to find the resources to build more rockets to launch into Israel. Killing Jews is more important to Hamas than feeding their own children. Israel, in turn, simply asks for the rocket attacks to stop and they will lift the siege. The UN and the world has only asked that they give up their genocidal goals and they will be supported, as the more secular Fatah is supported. In turn, the population of Gaza has voted in Hamas as their party of choice, to speak for them, in an unwavering support of the genocide of Israel.
I feel sorry for the children, but the adults are psychotic religious nut jobs that are too dangerous to be allowed in civilized society. I might almost say the same for Islam in general, but there exist a few moderates that do not take the Quoran too seriously. However, that doesn't mitigate the fact that the words of death, murder, and genocide are deeply ingrained in the heart of the Quoran.
On a slightly different note:
Muslims have theirs in the form of commands laid down in the Quoran, just one of which is, that ALL Muslims should work towards overthrowing the government of the country in which they live.
All Muslims are required to fight for the adoption of Sharia Law. Sharia Law is Islamic Law, plain and simple. Most western and far eastern countries live under secular legal codices that have been developed over centuries and are far superior to Sharia Law, for secular environments. One might as well go back to Church Law, delivered from the Vatican.
I leave you with the thought that, of the world's five major religions (Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hindu, Judaism) only one of them legitimizes and even espouses death, murder, and genocide as a matter of religious practice, conversion, ascendancy, and glorification. That religion is Islam.
9:" 5 But when the forbidden months are past then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them and seize them beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful"
Muhammad in his Quran, declared total and eternal WAR, against all those who do not believe (UNBELIEVERS) in 'Allah AND in Muhammad as his messenger'.
“When you meet the unbelievers, strike off their heads; then when you have made wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives.” (Quran47.4).
"And when the sacred months are passed, kill those who join other gods with God [i.e. moshrekin.] wherever ye shall find them; and seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush: but if they shall convert, and observe prayer, and pay the obligatory alms, then let them go their way, for God is Gracious, Merciful."(Quran 9:5)
"Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given and believe not in God, or the last day, and who forbid not that which God and His Apostle have forbidden..."( Quran. 9:29)
However, don't take my word for it.
