(no subject)
Took down Golemagg tonight. And I guess Ony went down this weekend as well (I wasn't there, not attuned :( ). So in MC we're 7/10 on bosses...in less than a month. Granted, I'd seriously say we have 5 of those 10 on farm right now, but still, it's badass. If repetitive. I understand why they call it Molten Bore now. Once a week waiting for drops...welcome to raiding I guess.
In terms of the merge and dkp, we're STILL working on it. Even had an officer meeting about it tonight and still...nothing. As class leader, looking out for my class, we had a few BOE drops and some people that badly needed rewarding got their shit, and that is good. But as far as purples not being fairly handed out...we have had a few issues, and we need to wrap this rolling shit up right fuckin' now. This literally happened the other night...7 mages...3 AIA, 4 Div.....tier 1 mage head drops....everyone rolls.....Div dude wins...and gives it to another Div guy. Too many mages, yeah....anyway, one of our mages instantly /gquits...our other couple mages are quit pissed but mature enough to hang out. And this is the issue. Divinity runs on a revolving loot system. Spreading it out. Fine. My thing, that and us rolling don't fuckin' mix. The issue is obvious...why basically roll need on a bop when their people can pick and choose, and ours can't? Not like any of this was even discussed beforehand.
That was bad enough, but we've been screwed on caster rolls. ROLLS. That's the fuckin' problem. Div has a few very lucky fuckers. Hell I'm lucky, being a class leader (somehow recognized across guilds, wait, they hate rogues, lolz) so yeah. Their mage class leader has walked out of fresh boss kills, no farming yet, with the shit...all off good rolls. And sure, he's always there, but...his gear already rocked. A month ago. We have our officers attending just as much with zero drops. I dunno if DKP would even solve this....but i guess it would. Just like I wouldn't lose a badass dagger to some fuck that showed up once to my five times and was late and annoying as shit on vent. My coolness is goddamned worth something. HAHA, own question answered. I've already earned the mythic dkp....now if we can only stop dicking around, merge, and get on to farming MC...the shit is easy...and if the fucking bosses would just drop Nightslayer.
