So, imagine my slight surprise when I get back from California late last Thursday and discover that it hasn't all been talk, the ol' guild actually has gotten it's act together. Sorta. Don't get me wrong, as I've said in my previous WoW posts, I'm generally pretty happy with my crew, it's just...we've been treading water for awhile now. And we've all known it. After a few months of barely filling ZG raids and such, it gets frustrating.

So I get back and first thing I see is we have a new website. Something there'd been plenty of talk about, and hell, Osx did I pretty good job on it. Next surprise is back to back MC familiarization runs with our new friends in Divinity. I should say, both parts of that last sentence where a surprise to me. But evidently I'd made it back just in time for the fun...

This is it. Finally. The Molten Core. A pretty bleak, giant instance filled with huge enemies and much chaos. Over a couple nights we end up taking down the first four bosses, all on our first attempts, cept for Magmadar, he was a bit of a bastard. Epix all around, I ended up with a new headpiece...to say that I've been enjoying all this would be quite an understatement. :)

So what next? We've finally found enough focus to start raiding more regularly, and I'm very pleased with that. We have new friends and allies, who knows quite where that will take us, but it sure is working out nicely so far. Three more MC runs scheduled this week, I'll be back in there tonight. :D This sure beats strat/scholo/dm/brs...

wow
