I'm back (not really)
From the school computer, kind of neat, I've never done this before so excuse my lameness. I actually feel pretty dumb right now, I tried to log on last week but I just couldn't figure out how to get on, so I asked someone yesterday and it seemed simple enough but it didn't work for me so I went back today and it turns out that I was typing my password the wrong way the whole time which is embarrassing as it's supposed to be my b-day, standard for everyone. So yeah, now that that's behind me...
Anyway still don't have internet access at home but I think it's coming this weekend, thank the universe b/c my flashdrive isn't working on this thing and I have to get the old quotefic uploaded. Our move wasn't too bad. It started off warm, I had on a short sleeve t-shirt and flip flops then suddenly the temp started to drop and it just get dropping until that nasty ice storm came in. It wasn't too bad down here though, we actually live in the two counties that didn't have the ice storm warning in effect (yes, we somehow live in two counties, the line comes right through our property). Morning classes were canceled Wednesday so I didn't have some classes until Friday. I think the whole quick weather change plus the move made me terribly ill though. It's been a week but I still feel sickly. Need rice soup, I'll even take my mom's less flavorful w/ chicken version though that duck and ginger sauce my grandmother adds is sounding real mouthwatering rught now.
Classes aren't too bad. I may be able to handle five without failing completely. My honors English class is in the honors room which is decked out with couches, chairs, a fridge, lots of goodies for a classroom and it has table set up like a seminar class which is kind of daunting, wasn't expecting that until junior or senior level; it's not too bad overall. Anthropology is going to be really interesting, I look forward to that class. Bio's not bad, lab is kind of neat but the professor moves fast even though he repeats everything like three times. I returned my book and plan to get everything off a blackboard, he put it all up there which is cool. I'm kind of falling behind though since I don't have them yet. I get the sense that I'm going to have to actually work at that class ;)
Okay, can't senselessly ramble too much. Must leave soon so my sister can get to her piano lesson. But I finally looked over my beta-ed copy of the quote fic, me being the dolt that I am didn't save it to disk after I read the email, afterwards my dad unhooked the computer and then I kicked myself for being so slow. But it's looking lovely. Still must work on the summary, I completely forgot about that until last night.
