I finally solved the mystery of the missing morning show hosts. It turns out that they were "let go", but further research showed that after their last morning show, they were told their contracts had been terminated and had already been replaced, which is pretty messed up. I'm a little late on putting this all together. I go through periods where I listen to the radio a lot, then I don't, and when we moved I hadn't listened in weeks. And then I saw the billboards advertising the new morning show hosts. Apparently the new owners wanted to take the radio station in a different direction. I haven't listened to the new morning show but so far the station still sounds the same. I was fond of the old hosts, I've been listening to them since I moved here. The whole thing is seriously messed up. I should have known something was up when the other morning show d.j. just left last spring and the guy from the evening show took his spot.

The good news of the day is I got a 79 on my math quiz, only three question wrong. I think I did well on my history test, which I'm more confident about than math. I feel quite good knowing my American history now, I could kick the SAT American History's ass now, seriously. The paper is whole different issue though. It's due Tuesday and instead of finishing up my research, here I am on lj not doing research. I'm hoping to get a rough draft done Saturday. Nothing to it but to do it. I just need to get off my lazy arse and making everything harder, but messing around on the internet is so much more appealing.

I'm thinking blueberry pancakes for dinner with turkey spam. yum. The mother has to work late tonight so we pretty much have to make our own dinner not that she ever makes dinner when she's home. For some reason, what to have for dinner is such a complicated issue for the fam, made all the more complicated by lack of decent take out spots. All this place has is fast food, literally on every block, and bad Mexican food. Take out for us is more bun with charred beef rather than a burger and fries. We had to go to our old neighborhood to get pho last night, which was depressing, it's so nice over there and there's so many food choices. A wide selection of good nearby eateries is very important.

Okay, enough dawdling.
