so tired
Something I noticed in Inu-fandom, is there are trends in the fanfics. When I first got into it last year, it was all secret agent or CIA type of stories, some are still hanging on. And pirate stories which flared up again this past summer, unsurprisngly. I haven't really noticed that in HP fanfics but then I hardly ever venture outside of cm. I prefer to get my classic ship at a place with quality writing, which I'm sorry to say doesn't happen all that often in Inu-fandom. Lately, I've had a thing for reading bad FMA/HP crossovers. I need to stop doing that to myself, I've scarred myself mentally a few times. I should be spending that time writing instead of reading badfic, but I have a lazy streak the size of Texas. I'd have many more fics written if I did something about that. I don't just have random plot bunnies, mine are fully grown and ready to leave home. At least I got my Nev/Pad fic up, I got a review and I learned my lesson about picking titles late night when half asleep.
The gale force winds have abated. Okay, they weren't that strong in our area, ut they were having tornadoes out west. We live far from there thank goodness. Today was perfectly sunny and warm, it was almost as if nothing happened. It took my mom three hours to get home from work last night. After the storm finally died down, there were kids outside playing in the water and people walking around with no shoes on even in water mid-calf high, it's white trashy over here. I think it may rain later on in the week, hopefully not as bad.
