"W-what the heck...?"

[Our plucky little Pokemon coordinator walks directly into the snowstorm, shivering and rubbing her own arms to try to keep warm. Moving bravely forward, she eventually spots the tiny little creature quite literally dancing up a storm in the middle of it all.]

"I-is that an Ice-type Pokemon...?"

"How are you making it snow like that?"

[Bounces in place, rubbing her arms to try to stay warm.]

You sure do know a lot of weather-changing moves... Can you use Rain Dance, too?

. . . Never heard of that one, kupo. My dances aren't named so boring, anyway. This here's the Desert Lullaby. Other one was the Snowman Rondo.

"Huh... so I guess you're not a Pokemon like I thought after all, then."

[Smiles a little.]

"Back home, we call the ones you were just doing 'Sandstorm' and 'Hail.' Your names are a lot flashier, though."

K-Kupo?! Ya mean to say there are other people who can do the same thing I can?!

Well, sure... there are some Pokemon that can learn weather-changing moves like that. Besides Sandstorm and Hail, there's also Rain Dance and Sunny Day. None of mine know how to use any of those moves, though...

Aww, man, kupo! So much for bein' unique . . . At least my names are cooler, kupo.

Can't make it rain, but I can make it flood. And what's so special about Sunny Day, kupo?

Sunny Day makes the sun come out real hot and bright. It weakens the effect of Water-type moves and makes Fire-type moves twice as strong. Some plant-based Pokemon also heal faster in the sunlight.
