It woulda been 5 years
This journal entry will be dedicated to a fallen comrade.
On December 25th, it would have been our 5 year anniversary. 5 years of a loving, wonderful relationship. I remember having problems in the past, but we always got along. Since the first time we played Dynasty Warrior's 2 together, to the last time we played DDR... Thank you.
I love you buddy. I remember the time you were doing kickflips on Carlo's basement floor, or the several times you fell 6 feet off of my big screen. I remember when you lost your cover, and when I had to send you in. We had quite a laugh when the technician asked, " Has it ever been dropped?"
Now, your just reduced to playing DVD's... not even, just watching them. I suppose I should still be thankful. You were one of the originals. I even have the original controllers, although most of the wire is showing, and years of grease and sweat have been ingrained in them. Nevertheless, they have experience, as do you.
No matter what kind of poser replaces you... you'll always be my friend, my ally, my lover. I wish you could still take your rightful place, but you will still sit next to me, in my room.
