"News flash, Mr. Wizard. Vampires pee."

A part of him had wished his brother had been intelligent enough to each his ass to make sure that he didn't get free. The elder Winchester had gotten out and went to say his good-byes to Lisa. He went to Lisa. But unlike what he'd hoped, Dean hadn't had the self-control he thought he would. He wasn't strong enough as much as he originally thought he was when it came down to everything. When it came down to everything, he thought he was a better person but he was really just what the other vampires were. A starving monster. That's all vampires were, starving monsters. After he was finished at...his house. Their house. It'd been their house and the symbol of his cross into normalcy. Now the blood splattered on the walls was just the testament to the end of it. Dean knew he couldn't go back to his brother. Sam wouldn't kill him. But there were others who would. He knew there were.

Because there was Buffy. The former hunter didn't think there were a lot of Buffy Summers's in the world. But apparently there was two. One was just in Canada and was this obese woman who lived in a home. So he didn't think the slayer he knew when he was a teenager in Sunnydale had let herself go that much. He'd figured she'd do the smart thing and leave Sunnydale the chance she got. But she hadn't. She hadn't. He remembered her explaining everything to him. How the monsters felt a pull when they were there. He felt it just as the other monsters, the only problem was that he wasn't as bad as the others. Or he didn't think he was as bad. It didn't take too long to find her...Buffy hadn't moved from where she grew up either. Everything was pretty much the same. Sure there seemed to be more occupants but other than that. Nothing. Dean had settled in the corner of Buffy's room when she was out, avoiding the world for the most part. When they'd arrived again, he could hear their heartbeats. Hell, he probably heard them from down the street but he wasn't too sure. He just knew that everything was getting worse now that he'd gotten a taste of it as he pressed his fingers against the bridge of his nose, shutting his eyes tightly.
