repetitive.
I was thinking about an imaginary band to start. in my brain.
It'd have to be really folky. and exotic.
so I'm trying to think of this crazy ultimate indie band...
for sure sitars, mandolins, digeridoo, tambourines, harmonicas and all that to compliment a fairly standard guitar-bass-drum
plus hand claps and big sing along choruses and stuff.
mostly happy but a little twisted.
totally peace and love though... just with a little wry humor and realism thrown in
a total hipster band right??
so when I was trying to come up with a name for my imaginary band I thought "hey. here's a good one. how about the beatles?"
moral to the story, kids is that the stuff off of revolver, the white album, etc etc
was doing 40 years ago what super "cutting edge" indie bands are coming out with today.
and I LOVE devendra and shit as much as the next guy. for sure.
but I guess its all just funny how everything just keeps on comin back around.
