Death Note Movie II showing TONIGHT o-O!
My sister is back in town because she's homesick ;b, and Mom has the rest of the week off. She was looking through the paper this morning after she landed to see if there were any movies to watch with Mom while I went to work, and I found out that the second Death Note movie is showing TONIGHT o-O! Thanks a lot for nothing, Death Note movie website, for NOT telling me that fact even though I signed up for updates >;P! It actually premiered YESTERDAY, so I missed the first showing. Yeah, yeah, I shouldn't go because Mom and I bought a bootleg copy of it on DVD at Rosedale last month which we still haven't watched because Mom doesn't like reading subtitles unless she's fully focused on the movie, but I bought a ticket anyway and am going to the showing tonight just because I want to watch it dubbed weirdly in English (and not wait for Mom anymore). We also have a bootleg copy of the stand-alone 3rd movie too which I'm waiting to watch as well.
After only one month of being open, I noticed on my drive home from work last night that the blue lights for the bacon strips on the new I-35W bridge were off/broken 8(! How could they break so soon?! The other lights on the bridge were fine. It's just plain old fat bacon stripes without the blue lights.
My sister also told me a new NYC ER 'horror' story when I was driving her home today from the airport. An elderly man came in because he has had a hernia for a long time, and it was finally getting to the point where it was really hurting him a lot. His pants were BULGING o-O! When my sister asked him to strip, his scrotum was the size of her head which is about as big as your average honeydew melon or a small basketball o~O! Basically, all his intestines were now inside his scrotum X(! There wasn't much she could do for him other than set him up for appointments with various surgeons to correct the problem which would take several procedures over a long long LONG period of time.
Finally, I got a new cellphone last month because Dad wanted to upgrade his for global calling. With his upgrade, the rest of the family (i.e. Mom and me) could get new phones for free, so why not? We now all have a Samsung SGH-T639 which unfortunately has no place to hook any cellphone charms anymore, sniffle ;(! I miss my bling! On the other hand, it has a built in camera, changeable faceplate (mine is now dark red), and I can download cool things into my phone now 8D! Via mooncatx's awesome gift computer and some troubleshooting help from T-Mobile yesterday, I just downloaded Kim Possible's Kimmunicator beep and the Totally Spies compowder alert as ringtones in my phone! I can't wait for someone in my family to call me now X)! Home is set to the Totally Spies compowder, and the rest of my family has the Kimmunicator. I should find another cool alert for my friends' ringtone which is currently setup as one of the default sounds that was included with the cellphone. Any suggestions?
