HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LISA!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRANT!

I hope you both get plenty of cake, ice cream, and presents all around! Any birthday wishes? If so, please post here ;)! Lisa/taeha, you should have gotten 4 things from me via Gaia and a package via snail mail on Amazon, hopefully.

I knew it! As soon as I heard my parents were going to be delayed coming back from Taiwan, I surmised they would schedule to come back on THE busiest day of my life, Aug 2nd. That, of course, is the day Jim Lee will be at the Source, Kakkoi-Con weekend, and the 3 big summer art fairs X(! I was right! They ARE planning on coming back Saturday, Aug 2nd! I HATE MY FAMILY'S TIMING AND LAST MINUTE SCHEDULE CHANGES! We're too synchronized with one another! AUGH! If they actually do get a flight back here Aug 2nd, I'm going to shanghai my Uncle, who is supposedly coming back on Jul 31st, to pick them up >;b! I'm too busy to deal with anything else Saturday, plus I've already warned them months in advance of how I'm going to explode on that day o~O!

I know I swore NOT to go to another sushi buffet here in MN until Todai opened a branch here, but once again, I was tricked by my parents into trying another. This one wasn't too bad IF you don't mind eating paper-thin sliced fish encased in tons of fake crab meat. It's called 98 Pounds Buffet, and it's located just off of 35W's 98th Street exit in Bloomington. They're sushi buffet bar setup is the 'best' I've seen here in MN so far. They even have a sushi maker live behind the counter of the bar making batches of rolls. There's a nice variety of rolls and other sushi delights, but you only get a sliver of actual sushi or fish per serving --;. Like any buffet, you can actually take as much as you want unlike Akita. The rest of the buffet consists of your average or, in this case, below average, Chinese food. The only part I liked about the rest of the buffet was that they had fresh slices of mango in the fruit/dessert area =9, and they were very sweet! I don't think I've ever seen fresh mango served around here in any buffet. For the price of about $8.00/person for lunch and $13.00/person for dinner, it's a lot cheaper and more satisfying experience than Akita, but I don't think I will have any cravings to go here ;P.

Finally, the Thundercats soundtrack petition is going to SAN DIEGO COMIC CON 8D! Source is graciously going to be handing out fliers, designed by Dillon Avery, for the petition at their booth at Comic Con! I HOPE this will garner some much needed publicity for the cause! Wish them luck and stop by the say, "Hi," to my friends at Source!
